Knowledgeworker Create supports target-group-specific learning content. Learners can choose their target group themselves. The content then adapts to the selected target group. Target groups can thus be used to segment your learners. Learn how to analyze the differences between your target groups with Knowledgeworker Create and your Learning Record Store.

Analyzing the choice of target group

When learners select their target group at the beginning of a course, Knowledgeworker records the selection. This allows you to check what percentage of your learners are interested in the content of a particular target group. Learners can choose multiple target groups and return to the target group selection later on.

When a target group is activated, an event with the verb joined is transmitted for the target group. If the target group is left later on, an event with the verb left is transmitted accordingly.

Additionally, another event is transmitted for the course itself. It contains the verb personalized and transmits all target groups selected after the course personalization in the field context > contextActivities > other.

Selecting events of a target group

After learners have chosen the target group, all subsequent learning events are assigned to the target group. This allows you to directly compare the further learning progress of multiple target groups.

All events are enriched with context information about the currently selected target groups, which you can filter directly. Select events that contain the desired target group in context > contextActivities > other.

Setting up target group filters in the LRS “Learning Locker”

In the Learning Record Store “Learning Locker,” you can analyze and directly compare data sets related to your target group individually.

For your data set, select your desired attributes as usual. Additionally, in the section Where > contextActivities > other, add the target group. The data will then only contain events experienced by learners with the target group activated.
