Comments on posts can be read by anyone who can see the post. Private comments are a way to limit the visibility of the comment, thus providing more privacy.
Private comments can be read and responded to by the following people:
- the creator of the comment,
- anyone allowed to edit the post, such as the author of the post or administrators,
- when responding to a comment, the author of the original comment.
